Hello there!

It has been hell of a month! I have never thought a month can last so long. But seriously, January was much longer than other months. I almost transfer money to pay for my rent again...Änd here comes the sad part of this story: I'm still convinced it'is January.
But. Let's start with something else. How is your 2018 going so far? All good? Same old with me, same old. I still have no fkng clue what to do with my life and I'm not sure what my dreams are. I would like to travel more, explore more, be that same crazy me as I was when I was 16, live in a beautiful house with my future dog and my partner (I hope that my current partner will stay with me for let's say... more 20 years or something, but no pressure).
The only missing part in the story of my life is chapter Me & Tons and tons of money & Where to find them (yes, it sounds like a J.K. Rowling book, but I'm pretty sure this chapter will be more absurd and crazier than Fantastic Beasts).


I got used to my new flat and living alone and it's awesome! I know some of you must think I'm freak-living alone at my age and actually loves it, it can't be normal, right? But guess what! I don't care. I am still devoted to this minimalism style and throw away stuff I don't need almost everyday. My wardrobe is getting smaller and smaller and I'm happier and happier. Nobody needs tons of clothes, because as my sister says: you love few pieces and wear them all of the time. And I completely agree.


There is also one thing I found out about myself. I don't enjoy shopping food. I drink lot of milk and cappuccinos and my consumption of milk is unbelievable. I also love fresh vegetable and fruit. So I have to go to shop often and it's definitely not my favourite thing to do, but I have to eat and drink, so I behave as an adult and I go to shop regularly.
And one last piece of information: the winter lasts so long and I'm more than ready for summer (okay, even for spring). I want Sun and hot weather and I think I should definitely live by the sea:-)

Since I was born I lived with my parents, but now, the time has come and I live alone in my own appartment and I feel so grown up! Thought I still look like a 17 year old.
Today it's exactly one week I am living alone and I found out some things about myself. So grab a cup of coffee or tea and go ahead.


First of all, I hate things! Literally, I hate owning things. Moving out took me so much time that I've decided to throw away everything I don't need, because it's really hard to carry all things you own plus all this packing up and unpacking... so next time I am moving I want to own half the stuff I own now and I am working on it already. My clothes is affraid of losing a place in my closet, because almost everyday I look in my closet and find clothes that doesn't fit me anymore, or worse, clothes I have never  (not even once) worn! So goodbye my clothes, hope you will be well with you new owner...


Secondly, do you know how every home has its distinctive scent? I was craving to know what mine is and now I know... coffee. I drink so much coffee and have a coffee machine, so the first thing you smell when you open the door is coffee, which is great, because it's my favourite smell!


What else... during the whole process of moving out and moving in I lost my sense of knowing when some of my things are. For example I didn't know where my debit card or my underwear were...you know just these not very important things.
I also didn't make any plan or anything, I just grabbed some suitcases, bags and boxes from the supermarket nearby and put all of my belongings into them. Fun fact: there exist tons and tons of lists when you are moving in and out on pinterest and all over the internet and they consist of very useful items you will probably need and also tips and tricks and things you should do...too bad I am too stubborn and I love doing things my own way.




I wrote this before and I write it again: minimalism is the way! I like clean surfaces and free spaces, so I am trying to have only few decorations, so that the cleaning is easy and also the appartment is more airy. Don't get me wrong, I have photos and souvenirs and candles (tons and tons of candles actually), but I don't want to place them everywhere, just here and there and done!

Another thing, plants. I am horrible with them. I love them (as almost every woman), but I tend to forgive about them, so please, please, don't give me flowers or plants, I am very likely to kill them. Sometimes I come home and realise that I actually have plants and didn't water them for quite a long time... yes, that's the kind of a person I am. Thanks God I don't have any children.

Well, I found out quite a lot things about me (after only 1 week of being alone) and I'm really looking forward to find more. If you are curious too, follow, so you won't miss anything.


P.S. While I was writing this I was listening to Christmas songs, because why not :-)

Merry Wednesday!

How are you today? I didn't feel that leaving my bed in the morning is the best decision, because I was so tired and the weather outside was awful, so my bed looked like the perfect place to spend my day in, however, I did get up, had my morning cereal with a cup of tea, did all these things you do in the morning such as dressing up, brushing teeth and and so on and got to work. I wanted to write some articles which is done. Then I prepared myself a little morning snack that included some fruit and of course a cup of coffee made in my cezve (it's a turkish way of making coffee, eventhough Turkey is quite far away from the place I live, I love this method so much, I wished to get a cezve to my birthday and now it's one of my best friends).
And now I am sitting in front of my laptop and writing this little blog post for you. I wanted to publish a new article on my second blog I write with my sister, the one about the Czech Republic (traveltocz), however, the document with my notes and research an everything somehow doesn't work and I cannot open it. On the other hand, I have more time for this blog.

Tattoo, Cuba and ayahuasca

So far this week I got a new tattoo from my very talented and modest boyfriend (you can find his work here: RavenFromTheNorth) and also have been to work where I had an oppurtunity to listen to a traveler's talk about 2 years journey across the world. I sometimes think about how my thoughts are connected to the action.... I thought about trying ayahuasca and visiting Cuba one day, and voilá, he was talking about his experiences with this 'drug' and also about his visit of Cuba, so now I am almost 90% sure I don't want to take part in ayahuasca ritual, because right now, I don't think I am capable of doing it. And secondly, I know for sure, I want to learn spanish.

Plans for this week

Swimming pool, cinema, zumba class, burgers, reading Sophie Kinsella's book on the balcony...these words pretty much sum up my previous week.

Okay, first of all, can we comment on the weather? Because it was amazing! I couldn't believe my eyes, the sun was shinning and I was literally sunbathing in the middle of February on the north of the Czech Republic. Unbelievable!  After lunch, while having my cup of coffee, before I went to work, I grabbed my book and went on to our balcony to do my two favourite things - read and sunbathe!
On Thursday I did not forget to visit my zumba class and I enjoyed it as always! In the evening I came home and watch Fifty shades of Grey, because I couldn't remeber the ending and on Friday I visited my grandma who didn't feel well and also met my Dad. I booked a bowling ahead, so in the evening me, my Dad and also my sister enjoyed an hour of playing bowling and I was really bad. I haven't played for so long and it's not like riding a bike, you can forget how to bowl!
Also, one things that I did and was quite important for me: I definitely quit my part-time job in a cafe, where I worked lately mainly in the shop few days a month before definitely leaving for foreverm probably. Don't get me wrong, I loved this job, but it was also very hard and I am really glad I finally left. After returning the keys I felt relief and peace, which I take as a sign that I make the right decision.


The weekend was a huge relax. I didn't go to work, so I basically did nothing. I watched biathlon, read books, went to whirpool and swimming pool, watched films, drank wine. All these things that I enjoy doing!

Today is Thurdsday early morning and my beginning of the week was painted in the shades of grey. Every morning I went to the cinema, to work, went home for lunch, coffee, and came back in the evening. These three days only confirmed my decision not to have a normal job. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Not a model suitable for me. Sorry world. I am sure I can do it diferently. I was also thinking about my relationship and found out that I am too independent and my partner also. We do kinda same things but separately. For example he travels either alone or with his friends and I do travel with memebrs of my family. I think we both are happy and satisfied, but somehow I'm not sure if we won't become strangers in the future. Where is the line between addiction and independence?

P.S.: Yesterday was also the day I saw Fifty Shades Darker for the sixth time.
