Ahoy!
It's Thursday night, I came from work few minutes ago and now I'm sitting on the sofa and watching one my all-time favourite film The Holiday and waiting until my tea of the day becomes drinkable.
Today was the premiere of new animated film Sing and I was sceptical about this film, because I don't like animated films with main characters who sing all the time or worse: dance all the time! However, Sing is soooo lovely, amazing, perfect, adorable, cute and charming! You have to watch it! I was dancing and laughing all the time. And my tea is ready! It's unbelievable that 22 days ago I didn't like herbal tea and now I drink one herbal tea a day and I like them! Christmas time is magical and full of miracles!
Enjoy the last day before Christmas and be kind, friendly and share love with others!
I'm saying this, because my dad and my gradma are going really crazy during Christmas time and they don't have time to see me or my sis before our Christmas date, because they have so much things to do (for example buying Christmas presents, baking Christmas cookies, buying grocery for a traditional Christmas dinner,...) and I think they are missing the whole point of Christmas. It's not about spending all day in the kitchen, it's about spending time with people you love.

A Christmas Carol (2009)

The tea for Weednesday was called Calm down and  because I was awake for almost 24 hours (now I'm exaggerating, I went to bed at 3 in the morning and woke up at 8). And what was so special about Wednesday? The midnight premiere of new Star Wars Story: Rogue One! Have you seen it? It's amazing!
And now back to the tea of the day! I drank it in the morning while I was wrapping up Christmas presents, because I wanted to be prepared for Christmas Eve and voila I need to wrap up some more and it will be done!

The name of the tea of the day was tempting, but there was no snow outside on Tuesday. Instead of Snowball Fightiung outside, I went to the cinema (to work) and watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, this time in 3D and sadly it wasn't good. The film itself is great, fantastic and Newt is so adorable, but it's way too dark for 3D, so the best version is 2D in English! ;-)

Not having any plans for Halloween? In my country we don't celebrate Halloween, however this year I am planning to celebrate this feast. Of course we have a jack-o'-lanthern on our balcony already, but I also plan to watch a Halloween film and wear a costume.  It would be weird to go trick and threat, because firstly, I am not a child, and secondly, people would be confused, because there is no such official event such as Halloween in the Czech Republic.
I already know which film I want to want on Halloween eve and I know it's more a childish film than a proper horor, but I am not really a fan of horror films. I like a good thriller when the plot is not visible and clear at the first sight, but horror films with zombies and killers-not really my cup of tea! So my film for Halloween eve is Double, Double, Toil and Trouble. I have never seen it before and I have always loved films with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, so I'm looking forward to this film!
I know you probably aren't interested in watching films with two little girls that aren't zombies, killers or small Devils, so my tips for you are following.

The Ring

The old good classic. I've seen only the American version with Naomi Watts in the main role and it was good. Well, good for a horror film.

The Sixth Sense

Bruce Willis and a little boy who can see dead people. If you haven't seen this film yet, watch it on Halloween, It's a must-see!

Vampire Diaries

Supernatural drama tv series with vampires, witches and others supernatural creatures! I have seen all the seasons and I currently watch the latest season and it is the most terryfying season I've seen so far (well at least according to the first episode).

Constantine

One of my favourites films. Keanu Reeves and Shia LaBeouf. Angels and demons and ordinary people between them.

If you prefer books, I also have two tips for you that are perfect for Halloween. Rosemary has a baby and The Stepford Wives. Both were written by Ira Levin are absolutely stunning! They both are so readable and terrifying and make you shivery!

Facts, plot and so on...

• The film is based on a book written by Ransom Riggs and I have never heard about it before, so I can't compare the film and the book. 
• The boy who played Jake looked familiar to me and now I know why: you could have seen him before in The boy in the Stripped Pyjamas - very sad and depressing film. What I personally find very disturbing about this actor (Asa Butterfield) is the fact he has dark hair and blue eyes.
• There is a scene with carousel in which you can see Tim Burton.
• It is very common that you can sometimes simply guess the main plot of the whole film only from the trailer, but this film is (and I am very thankful for that) an exception! I had no idea what to expect!
• Johnny Depp can't be seen in this film.

After two weeks full of work I finally have few days off. I went to my work for only 3 hours today and came home just on time to have lunch. After that I finished my candy cotton I bought yesterday at a traditional Autumn market that took place in our town. And of course I had a cup of coffee - a day without coffee is not a perfect day for me! I also went out for a walk, but I spent majority of the afternoon with a book in my hand because I just couldn't stop reading. I am still reading Me Before You and eventhough I have seen the film twice and I know how it's all going to end and what will happen, I cannot stop reading, because it's the best lovestory I've ever read! To be honest, I may also had a nap on our balcony where I spent pretty much the whole afternoon with my sister.
