Why did I write a letter to my younger me?
My favourite author and editor of First Class (a Czech magazine) Petr Cassanova wrote a letter to his younger self and it inspired me, because I started to think what would I say to my younger me? Would I give away to much, would I say don't go to college? No, of course not :-) I would write this:

Hello you!
You are already a teenager. 15 years old, that is someting, right? I know you like trying new things, you have already smoked your first cigarette and had your first shot, that's ok. 
I am not writing you to give you lecture, I want to encourage you and assure you that everything is going to be alright! Very, very soon, I promise! 
In your life, however, you will have to make many decisions and making them according to what other people think is bu****it! Do it as you feel it. If you don't want to go to college, it's fine. You can study later. If you want to travel abroad, do it! If you don't want to live your life according to what other people say is right, do it your way! People who love will always be there for you to support you. Maybe not always from the beginning, but they will come. 
You are perfect! Do everything with your heart, don't be mean, always say what you think.
Life isn't hard, it is people who can make you suffer, but it's always up to if you let them hurt you.
Be strong, do things you love, stay positive & believe.

Last week I was celebrating with my family my granmother's birthday and because an ordinary dinner would be to mainstream, we decided to connect eating out with a trip to Czech Paradise.
We started our mini-trip (granmda is an old lady so long trip would be inappropriate :) ) in Sedmihorky and went to visit Hruba Skala where is a castle restaurant with a lovely view!

And of course, my camera was travelling with me, so I could make tons of photos that I can now share with you! Hope you will like them, because Czech Paradise is a very beautiful part of our country.

I need to get my own place. Seriously. I said it many times before when I got mad or when I had an argument with my mom, but now I think it's time. I am an adult. I have a job. I need some privacy. On the other hand, I do not have enough money to afford to buy an apartment, which is a shame, because I have always dreamt about a huge (ok, small would be fine too) lofthouse with a terrace and of course a lovely view would be included!
Or I would like to own a house. Small maybe medium size house with a terrace (yes,I want to have a terrace no matter where I would live) and garden I would maybe take care of - but I'm not a good gardener - I need to consider this point.


So now you know my plans about living. The only question is when I will be able to afford all of this and also when I will be prapared. Let's be hones guys, living with your parents (or at least living with one of them) is totally comfortable. Ok, I cook, I clean up, I do housework and do the men job (which I am surprisingly good at), but the bills are paid (of course I do contribute) and there is always (and I mean LITERALLY always) food in the fridge.
So both living with my mom and living all alone have its pros and cons, so for now I am grateful I can stay there, but for the future I know I need to find something only for me, well, when I am thinking about it I am not home very often, so maybe I should buy my own place in the future when I figure out everything  which means I will figure out what my dream job is and what I will do with the rest of my life without spending everyday at work and instead I will be doing things I love.

I love sewing (and I know I mentioned this on this  blog before). The only thing is I don't have a sewing machine. Many people think it's very time consuming to use only thread and needle, but today while I was sewing I was thinking about all the positive things of sewing without a sewing machine and I have a whole list.

I have seen Suicide Squad! Finally! To be honest, I am disappointed, because the trailer was better than the film. 

Do you know the feeling when you finish reading a book and suddenly you feel emptiness in your heart and you are also sad, but happy and grateful at the same time, because the book was just amazing and you are so happy that you've read it?
That is what I am experiencing right now, because I have just finish reading a vey lovely and touching book written by Elizabeth Gilbert  - Committed.
After reading her previous book based on her life Eat Pray Love I was looking forward to her new book. I even remember reading the 1st chapter of Committed in a library few years ago, but for some reason I didn't take the book home with me.
Now I am pretty sure I was supposed to read this book this year after Elizabeth and her husband broke up. The whole book is about love and marriage, but while I was reading I knew that they aren't a couple anymore and this situation brought the book into a whole new light.

About Committed: A Love Story

First book written by Elizabeth Gilbert I have ever read was Eat Pray Love. I first read it in my mother tongue and then my sister gave me the book in English to my birthday, so I read it again and again,... :-)
I couldn't wait to read some of her other books and after almost 10 years I did actually read another book by Liz and it was fantastic!
The whole book is about marriage and travelling. Liz and Felipe has to make a decision, they could either stay together in the USA but they have to get married or they can leave and Felipe would be never allow to the country again. Yes, it sounds easy: they are in love, they want to stay together so why they can't make it official? The thing is that they both experienced a divorce and it wasn't nice, it was mainly the opposite-pain, sadness, depression. That is why they are affraid of getting married again.
And this event is where the story begins.. or maybe I should say where the story continues, because it all started when they first met in Bali.

Why to read Committed: A Love Story

Good morning!
Few minutes ago I came home from my job (to be more specific: I came home from my dream job - a cinema). I am currently in my bed with a book written by Elizabeth Gilbert named Commited: A Love Story by my side and I am looking forward to finishing reading. It is ironic to read a book about  her marriage when I know that few weeks ago the split up with her husband who is the male character from her previous book Eat Pray Love, but I still enjoy the reading very much!
I am also thinking about new posts I would like to write and publish here on my blog.
This week has been sooo busy I had barely time to do things I love - for example sewing, spending time with people I love and also sunbathing and enjoying my life by simple living the moment :-)
For now I feel that I should finish reading the book and go to sleep, but I only wanted to inform you that I am planning new posts, so get ready!

In September I will go to Fashion Market, but not to buy something (as usual), but to promote and sell my own things. Unbelievable! At least for me. I love sewing (I guess I mentioned it before) and I also love the process of creating.. I enjoy every minute, from the moment I draw a desing and grab a thread & needle, to the moment when I finish and create something new.
Before I left for my holiday, I bought some fabrics and now I am totally into sewing and designing and I think and rethink every idea I get.
I am that kind of person that likes to share interesting things and things I adore, so here are the fabrics I bought. I love them, so I wanted to show them to you.

This July I worked a lot. I had 3, maybe 4 days off, but the rest I spent at work. I thought my August will be pretty much the same, but I realise I want to have more free time and I want to enjoy summer and go somewhere for summer holidays. And my wish came true. I spent 8 lovely days in Hungary, near Balaton in a small and very charming town Balatonalmádi.
Even though I love taking pictures with my camera, I didn't make much photos, because, let's be honest, I was relaxing, swimming, reading, eating and spending most of the time by simply living my life and it was absolutely amazing!


I have never been to Hungary before, so this whole trip was a new adventure for me. The people, their culture, their language, their cuisine... I was exploring everything!
Drinks you should definitely try: wine, wine and wine-if you don't drink alcohol, they might probably sell some water too. Meals you should taste: Székelygulyás (goulash stew), Lecsó (mixed vegetable-tomatoes and paprika, very tasty, my favourite), Pörkölt (meat stew),  cucumber salad. Hungarian cuisine is really tasty and I loves every meal I ate and it is also surprisingly cheap :-)

When I decide to do something new (for example start sewing, drawing, starting a new job) I have always a supporting boyfriend by my side.
Few years ago, when I wanted to become an artist and wanted to learn how to draw I got this from him.

While writing this article I'm sitting outside our accommodation in Hungary and having a coffee break after lunch :-)
I have never been there (I mean in Hungary) before, but I love it here :-)
