Since I was born I lived with my parents, but now, the time has come and I live alone in my own appartment and I feel so grown up! Thought I still look like a 17 year old.
Today it's exactly one week I am living alone and I found out some things about myself. So grab a cup of coffee or tea and go ahead.


First of all, I hate things! Literally, I hate owning things. Moving out took me so much time that I've decided to throw away everything I don't need, because it's really hard to carry all things you own plus all this packing up and unpacking... so next time I am moving I want to own half the stuff I own now and I am working on it already. My clothes is affraid of losing a place in my closet, because almost everyday I look in my closet and find clothes that doesn't fit me anymore, or worse, clothes I have never  (not even once) worn! So goodbye my clothes, hope you will be well with you new owner...


Secondly, do you know how every home has its distinctive scent? I was craving to know what mine is and now I know... coffee. I drink so much coffee and have a coffee machine, so the first thing you smell when you open the door is coffee, which is great, because it's my favourite smell!


What else... during the whole process of moving out and moving in I lost my sense of knowing when some of my things are. For example I didn't know where my debit card or my underwear were...you know just these not very important things.
I also didn't make any plan or anything, I just grabbed some suitcases, bags and boxes from the supermarket nearby and put all of my belongings into them. Fun fact: there exist tons and tons of lists when you are moving in and out on pinterest and all over the internet and they consist of very useful items you will probably need and also tips and tricks and things you should do...too bad I am too stubborn and I love doing things my own way.




I wrote this before and I write it again: minimalism is the way! I like clean surfaces and free spaces, so I am trying to have only few decorations, so that the cleaning is easy and also the appartment is more airy. Don't get me wrong, I have photos and souvenirs and candles (tons and tons of candles actually), but I don't want to place them everywhere, just here and there and done!

Another thing, plants. I am horrible with them. I love them (as almost every woman), but I tend to forgive about them, so please, please, don't give me flowers or plants, I am very likely to kill them. Sometimes I come home and realise that I actually have plants and didn't water them for quite a long time... yes, that's the kind of a person I am. Thanks God I don't have any children.

Well, I found out quite a lot things about me (after only 1 week of being alone) and I'm really looking forward to find more. If you are curious too, follow, so you won't miss anything.


P.S. While I was writing this I was listening to Christmas songs, because why not :-)

Dear Diary,
today is my 25th birthday. By now I should be all grown-up and have a child/dog/husband or whatever. I don't have any of these and I still feel like a teenager. You know what they say, getting old is not a choice, but growing up is and I am pretty sure I will never grow up. Anyway, my birthday tradition (since I turned 18) is having a glass of champagne to my birthday breakfast and since I don't go to school I take a day off so I can do whatever I want on my birthday (I really recommend that, because it's your day and you should enjoy it).
First of all I would like to mention this article I wrote last year. It's about my birthday and about my list of resolutions and things I want to learn or do and I surprised myself, because:

1. first of all, I forgot about that list
2. despite that I fulfilled almost all of it. Incredible. I can open up a bottle of champagne (but I'm still scared to death), I workout at least twice a week and I visited not one, but two foreign countries this year (Ireland and Bulgaria). Both of them for the very fist time.
3. I have still no fu***ing clue what I want to do :-)

How are you doing? Today is such a lovely day! The sun is shinning, sky is blue and I am drinking a delicious cup of cappuccino. Perfection. I am about to share my experiences from previous weekend with you. I was in Prague and the weather was incredibly beautiful from Friday to Sunday, it almost felt like summer, so I had a really great time! And also, the annual Signal Festival took place in Prague, so I visited some places and I liked it. I published some videos on my Instagram account if you want to see them and here are some photos I took.

If you are passionate about books, I bet you have some you like to read again and again. For me, these books are:

The Little Prince

Book number one, for me, is The Little Prince written by Antoine de-Saint Exupéry. As you can see on my body (I love it so much I even got it tattooed on my leg.)

• love as much as you can (the Little Prince loved his Rose more than anything) 
•  take care of yourself and your surroundings (LP took take of his planet)
• when you are sad, just be sad and don't pretend, the sadness will go away (LP once watched sunset 44 times, because one loves the sunset when one is so sad)
•  don't take eveything so seriously (the best thing about LP is his immediacy, adults are often so serious)
• don't judge others (be more like children, hang out with your friends because you like their personalities, not because they are rich and popular)

Eat Pray Love

This summer I read Eat Pray Love fot the 4th time and I still enjoyed every single page of it. The searching for pleasure, balance and love is something we all do everyday. Liz was so brave to share her story. I even read her other book Committed: A Skeptic Makes Peace With Marriage about getting married with Felipe, so I was even more sad when she broke up with Felipe (Jose), because I read not only about thee beginning of their relationship, but also about other important chapters. I know it may sound weird, but I like reading EPL everytime I am not sure what to do next with my life.

Every single book written by Robert Fulghum

I really read all his books. I started with All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten and continued with the rest of them. It was on fire when I lay down on it was the funniest story in the book with the same name and it makes me laugh everytime I recall it. Hold me tight, love me gently was something new, not a series of short stories, but one long story-and of course- it was amazing! Fulghum is my #1 author, his style of writing is witty, readable, honest, kind, sad, happy... it has EVERYTHING!

Anything by Sophie Kinsella except for Shopaholic series

I love a good romantic book. And Sophie Kinsella knows how to write a romantic novel every girl and woman loves to read. I am currently reading Wedding Night and it's funny already. Kinsella somehow can make a good story out of anything. As a reader, you have no idea what will happen next and when you think you know, you realise you don't. It reminds me of a good detective stories, however, instead of finding a killer, you are finding Mr. Right.
One tiny little thing: I do not like shopaholic series, because I don't like the main character, I somehow don't get her and her obsession with clothes and shopping is over the top.

Literally everything by Alexandra Potter

Me and Mr Darcy, Be Careful What You Wish For, Who's That Girl? 
Yes, it started with these books. I remember that the very first book by Alexandra Potter brought my sister. I have no idea how she found out about Alexandra and her fantastic books, but I am glad she did! We finished reading Me and Mr Darcy and immediately brought home another book. You know, there is one special thing about these books: they are literally magical. In every single one of them, some magical happens and it makes the book even more readable!

The Black Sea, Bulgaria

This summer I travelled to Bulgaria and it was amazing! I visited Bulgaria because I haven't been there before and I was curious. The flight from Prague took two hours and on both ways the plane was late. (Apparently, my choices of airlines this year are not perfect, but I love flying on planes anyway).

Basic info about Bulgaria

• Bulgaria is a member of European Union, so it wasn't a problem to travel only with my ID. 
• The capital is Sofia (haven't been there, maybe in the future) and it is also the biggest city.
• Typical Bulgarian cuisine: yoghurt (kiselo mljako), shopska salad, moussaka, shashlik, stuffed peppers, kavarma, kebapcheta, red wine, beer. (I tasted every single of them and all were delicious!)
• The Black Sea is really clean and its name may refer to the direction. According to some theories, many Asiatic languages use colors to refer to directions and black color stands for the north. So don't worry, the sea is not black at all!

Thanks to Zoella Book Club I have read a romantic novel about a girl who cannot go outside and her new neighbour she falls in love with and is determined to risk everything for him. The novel is called Everything, Everything and was written by Nicola Yoon.


I know I am not a teenage girl anymore, but this novel was so full of love and imagination and I simply loved it. When I found out about the film I couldn't wait to see it in the cinema. It is not very common, but the film was as great as the novel. The main character Olly is played by Nick Robinson who I adored in Mellisa & Joey, because he was so real and believable and the role of Olly is also perfect for him - he is so cute when he smiles and he seems more adult now and the main female character, Madeline, is played by beautiful Amandla Stenberg. And together, they are awesome!


So, if you love a good romance, can appraise an imagination and love the Little Prince and the sea, you have to watch this film!

Ireland. A magical green island I was thinking about few months ago when I was creating my profile on a website for travelers and was supposed to choose places I would like to visit. I chose two: USA and Ireland. And not so long after that, a miracle happened. My Dad and his partner planned a visit of Ireland and offered me to travel with them. And so I did.
